Red Sky
The Red Sky project is a 150 year old barn that has been incorporated into a 1,500 square foot net zero, Austin Energy Green Building 5 Star Rated Home. The project includes passive solar design, large overhangs, spray foam envelope, high performance windows, metal galvalaume roof, 4.5kw solar array, geothermal heating and cooling, Energy Recovery Ventilator, energy star appliances, dual flush toilets, stained concrete and bamboo flooring, xeriscaping, locally harvested stone, and 100% masonry.
